In Octoshield’s Cleaner, swipe left to queue a photo for deletion, right to keep it, or up to import it into the encrypted vault. Review the queue and confirm the iOS deletion prompt before photos are removed from the library.
One picture. Three decisions.
A crowded camera roll is easier to review one picture at a time. Cleaner presents photos as a stack of cards. It deals random batches from your library and lets you decide what happens to each picture.
This is a manual review tool. It does not claim to detect duplicates, rank your best shots, or decide which memories matter.
- Open Cleaner and grant the photo access needed to review your library.
- Swipe left to queue an unwanted photo for deletion.
- Swipe right to keep a photo in Photos.
- Swipe up to create an encrypted vault copy and queue the original for removal.
Review before anything leaves Photos
A left swipe is a decision in the app, not an immediate deletion. Open the queue, restore anything you want to keep, and confirm the batch. iOS asks for approval when Octoshield requests the library change.
Undo lets you revisit a recent decision before deletion is committed. If you undo a vault decision, the encrypted copy can remain in the vault. Undoing the queued deletion is separate from deleting that vault copy.
Know what happens after confirmation
Removed pictures normally enter Recently Deleted for up to 30 days. If iCloud Photos is enabled, deletion also applies to other devices using the same library. Review your backup needs before committing.
A vault copy still occupies storage on your iPhone. To reduce clutter, remove pictures you do not need. To protect a picture, use the vault and check both copies carefully.
